Background

Brian started crafting his own hunting apparel at age 16, when he confiscated his mother’s sewing machine. Three years of high school home economics (guys take it for the extra food and the cute girls) gave him the valuable knowledge of sewing. Since then, he has spent the last 22 years customizing everything from hunting apparel, technical scuba diving gear, rappel harnesses and SWAT and Sniper gear. He is a graduate of the University of Findlay with a BA in Criminal Justice and Political Science. While at Findlay on scholarship for track and field, Brian was a four time national qualifier in the shot put and left Findlay holding the outdoor shot put, hammer and 35lb weight throw school records. Brian still holds his high school shot put record, which is one of the oldest records unbroken at 20 years old. Brian spent 7years throwing in the Scottish Games Heptathalon, where he threw professionally for three years after college. He is now an avid triathlete and spends eleven months a year running, cycling, swimming and lifting. One month of the year is always reserved for die hard bow hunting (November of course!) He is married and has two sons, ages 4 and 6. Brian and his wife Erin are both avid cave divers but the two children slowed traveling and diving down a little. He and his family live out in the country of Tuscarawas County, where they enjoy many outdoor activities. Somewhere in there he fits in time to go to work, keep up with the farm and sew!!

It is also a family affair.
